Upon completion of pharmacy technician training program, students will be familiar with Pharmacy Law and the various medical/pharmaceutical terminology and processes required to undertake an entry-level position in retail and hospital pharmacies and pharmacies within medical and doctor's offices. Certification requirements

Certification may be required by various employers and this can be obtained through two main bodies: the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) (nationwide recognized and preferred by majority of employers) or the ExCPT from the Institute for Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT).
