Pharmacy Technician Training Programs
Pharmacy technician programs usually in the form of a diploma or associate degree are held in various accredited vocational/technical institution or colleges. The latter offers the student further opportunities in the field of pharmacy such as supervision and/or management roles.
Upon completion of a pharmacy technician training program students should be prepared for entry-level employment in retail and hospital pharmacies and pharmacies within medical and doctor's offices as well as registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.

An entry level pharmacy tech in MN earns an average of $11.01 per hour whilst an experienced and/or certified pharmacy technician can earns upwards of $22.83 per hour depending on years of experience and work setting.
Pharmacy Technician certification is recognized but not mandatory in the state of Minnesota.
Registration is required in order to work as pharmacy technician anywhere in the state of MN before beginning employment. Application forms can be found with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
