Remington College has a campus conveniently located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Students learn about pharmacy work not only through classroom lectures, but also through real life experience. Arkansas State University in Beebe is a degree program in pharmacy work. Arkansas Pharmacy Technician Certification Requirements

The state of Arkansas regulates pharmacy technicians and there are currently 1,517 actively certified PTCB pharmacy technicians (CPhTs). However, certification is not a requirement. Being certified though has its perks like commanding higher wages and in addition some employers prefer to hire individuals who have a recognized certification credential.
