Louisiana pharmacy technician certification requirements

Certification is mandatory. The state of Louisiana require pharmacy technicians to be certified through either PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) or ICPT (Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians).

Licensing/registration is also required for pharmacy technicians. Registration is made with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
